The TAL-LIRA is retail chain of outlets throughout Malta and Gozo. The first original shop in Hamrun, opened its doors to the public in June 1997. So many other Tal-Lira shops have opened since then including 4 Superstores, in various localities around Malta and Gozo.
All Tal-Lira shops Open daily Monday to Saturday with those in the tourist areas opening till late and even on Sundays and Public holidays. Different products arrive every week; therefore, there are different items every time you pay a visit.
In 2008 Tal-Lira went through a major change were the lira was replaced by €2 thus every client started saving Lm0.14 when buying from Tal-Lira!!! Yet another positive formula from Tal-Lira who are the only one price shops on the Island!!
Tal-Lira has widened its value for money concept not only within the retail industry but can also boast to offering to most value for money cinema as well as eating out experience at the Tal-lira Cinema and Tal-lira coffee shop both found at the Galleria shopping center in Fgura.
