The TAL-LIRA retail chain has to date, 24 outlets throughout Malta and Gozo. The first original shop in Hamrun, opened its doors to the public in June 1997. 23 other Tal-Lira shops have opened since then including 4 Superstores, in various localities around Malta and Gozo.
The fact that there are 24 Tal-lira outlets around Malta and Gozo means that everyone has access to a Tal-Lira shop close by over and above, all outlets. All Tal-Lira shops Open daily Monday to Saturday with those in the tourist areas opening till late and even on Sundays and Public holidays. Different products arrive every week; therefore, there are different items every time you pay a visit.

In 2008 Tal-Lira went through a major change were the lira was replaced by €2 thus every client started saving Lm0.14 when buying from Tal-Lira!!! Yet another positive formula from Tal-Lira who are the only one price shops on the Island!!
